IVOMEC Gold InjectionThe Ivomec Gold injection is a long-acting injection designed for the control of parasites in cattle. The IVOMEC Gold injection was created due to the effect that gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematode infections were having on grazing cattle’s health and productivity worldwide. IVOMEC Gold demonstrates excellent efficacy in preventing a wide range of bovine nematodes for extended periods of time. This is associated with significant productivity benefits such as weight gain and reduced losses from infection, which will have an economic impact on both animal populations and production efficiency.COMPOSITION: Ivermectin 3,15%m/v.WARNINGS: Cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 105 days of the last treatment. Do not use it in lactating cattle where milk or milk products are used for human consumption. Do not use in dairy cattle within 105 days before calving where milk and milk products are intended for human consumption. Do not administer intravenously or intramuscularly. Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons, and animals. Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.PRECAUTIONS: Do not re-use empty bottles. Refrain from smoking and eating while handling the product. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Vaccination of cattle against Clostridium infections is strongly recommended. Store bottle in the carton to protect from light. NB: Transitory discomfort has been observed in some cattle following subcutaneous administration. A low incidence of soft-tissue swelling at the injection site has been observed. These reactions have disappeared without treatment.DIRECTIONS FOR USE: By subcutaneous injection only 1ml/50kg body mass.External parasites: Cattle: Kills sucking lice, biting lice and mange mites.Controls sandtampans for up to 3 days after treatment.Kills cattle screw-worms present at the time of injection. Protects against screw-worm strike for 2 weeks after administration.Controls blue ticks on cattle for 75 days.Ivomec Gold at the recommended dose level may be used in breeding animals.STORAGE: Store below 25 degrees celsius and away from sunlight.
